Practice Starts Today!

Practice will officially kick off today at 10 am for the super and pro late model classes in preperation for the 42nd Annual Snowball Derby and Cale Gale is more than ready to see how his times compare to the other 70 or so drivers that have registered in both classes.  "It's one of the most prestigious short-track races in the country," Gale said.  The car was decent during Monday's testing and as things move along during today's testing, the team is hoping to improve on Monday's times.

It looks like Cale Gale will not be the only name in the pro and super late model classes that has some NASCAR events under his belt, 2009 Nationwide Series Champion and Sprint Cup star Kyle Busch will be on hand to compete in both classes and from what I am hearing, he is coming to Five Flags Speedway to clinch "the sweep" in both divisions, this should be interesting!  Other drivers scheduled to race this weekend are; David Stremme, Steven Wallace, John Wes Townley and James Buesher, Brian Ickler, Ryan Sieg and Shane Sieg from the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
