Cale Gale will be back in the No. 14 Kirk May Motorsports/Elite Auto Collision Super Late Model this weekend at Gresham Motorsports Park in Jefferson, GA. Labeled as one of the biggest season opening events ever, there will be six divisions of racing and will also be the second time for the 2010 racing season that Gale will be driving the No. 14 Chevy for Kirk May. At Speedfest earlier this year, Gale ended up with a top ten finish in his first outing with May and he is certainly looking for a better result this weekend, "there is no doubt that the Kirk May ride is fast everytime I drive it, we just need a little luck and I feel we can win with this car," Gale said.
Cale's dad, Bubba Gale, made the trip to South Alabama Speedway this weekend and ended up with a blown motor racing the No. 83 Gale Force Suspension Management/Coilover Load Pro Modified. Gale started the race from the third position and after three tries at taking the initial green flag to start the race, things settled down a bit with him very happy with the car until lap 18 when the car's tempature rose to 240 degrees.
